Buenas Dias

“Buenas dias peeps! Yes, it is an early morning, we are writing earlier because we are having a ¨super p-day¨. Haha, whatever that means? I have yet to experience one of these. We are going to hang out with the Hintze´s at their house. Kind of really exciting. So wow. Ready to write, so much good this week.

Well let´s start with FELIZ CUMPLEANOS HERMANA KAVA! She´s 20, I am no longer the ¨oldie¨. So for her birthday… hahaha, well it´s really hard to surprise your comp when she´s with you  24/7, so I pulled an almost all nighter getting some things ready. And yikes, shopping for her at Walmart was a struggle. Hahaha, she doesn´t like surprises, so she kept peeking. But I successfully managed to make it work. She´s awesome. Love her so much, we are just the best of friends.

So I want to share what the cutest members in the world did for her. We show up to the Fuentes house the night before her birthday and they completely decoreated their house like Hawaii! They spent all day decorating and their little 7 year old was asking all day when the sisters would be there. It was the sweetest thing ever! She hand made the flowers, cut down leaves, wrote the sign in english. It was tender and we ate some amazing enchiladas. Oh my. It was the cutest thing, and the cake they got was  beautiful with her name on it and everything. We were both just a little teary eyed, it was the cutest thing ever. I love the Fuentes fam.

Then the Cuellar family. On her birthday we went there for dinner, they made her a birthday sign out of magazines, and bought her another beautiful cake. We had so much fun. With them we speak english, they both have awesome english and so for them to practice we talk to them only in english. It was such a fun night!

And many others did cute little things for their sister Lilo. She is loved by many… including me!

On Thursday, I scored for missionary mail! Thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas cards, and grandma thanks for the calendar! So fun! I´ll write you all back soon!

So funny little story. Kava loves stickers… LOVES stickers. Aka has collected a collection of at least 30 sheets in two weeks. The struggle is real. Haha! So the other day she goes, ¨I feel like someone in a papeleria needs us.¨ And I said, ¨No you don´t, you just want more stickers.¨ ¨Well yes, but watch someone needs us.¨ Haha! A couple of  days go by, and sure enough we found a new papeleria and we met a very positive newbie. Yep, she was right. Hahaha! And now we will visit often, the lady is almost out of stickers. Haha!

I hit sixteen months this week… AH! It was actually an amazing day. Funny, I have two months left, Kava has two months total. She realized that the other day and just about died. I love that I am here with her at the beginning and she´ll be here for me in the end. The weather was incredible, we played soccer in the morning. Ordered pizza. Had incredible lessons, just amazing.

So let´s get to the goods.

The other night I had a strong impression to call a less active sister. I told Kava, ¨Hey will you call Elba right now and see if she can make it to church tomorrow?¨ This girl always has work on Sundays, and so it was weird to ask if she could. Kava called, and this is what happens. Turns out she had just walked into her house, and that day she got Sundays off, and she was just thinking maybe I´ll go to church! We called right when she was thinking that. It was a cool little miracle I will always remember.

Our Calderon family. Wow. They are incredible. Literally everytime Kava and I pray to know who needs us, we open our eyes, and there is the dad of this family! Three times, we have done that, and three times he passes by in the street. It´s kind of freaky actually! Haha! They have progressed incredibly! And the ward is being amazing, so friendly and loving! We got the entire fan there except the mom. We are feeling next Sunday. And they brought two cousins too. Karla is going to help be a leader at girls camp, they love her and want her to help them plan. Jose told us he really wants to serve a mission. And little Andres came to church for the first time and loved it. And Carlos, wow. He´s awesome! This family is a miracle.

This week we challenged them to live the word of wisdom, and coffee is their only challenge. They are doing awesome. They haven´t had coffee for three days now. And these people are used to drinking it at least four times a day! What is so cute is that just before we taught the lesson and challenged them for a week not to drink, Karla had been drinking coffee… And hadn´t finished. So we left, and little Andres, ran into to the kitchen and said, ¨Karla what´s in your cup?¨ ¨Uhh…¨ Hahaha, he made her dump it down the drain. Hahaha, so cute! And Andres has been helping us with the whole fam! Watching everyone. We bought them some Swiss Miss and they really loved that. So please pray fpr them to stay strong!

We just have the best people in our area. Our members are incredible. Always helping, feeding us, and also looking out for us. Yesterday, we were talking to some sketch man, and Brother Arevalo saw us, pulls over, and like stood in the background, then jumped in to get us away from the guy. We have a lot of fathers in our ward. Makes us feel very protected.

That guy that wanted to give me a hug is still out and about. In fact last night he attempted. Hahaha! Don´t you love drunk men? Hashtag no touchy.

Someone asked if I was Kava´s daugther. This is not the first time on my mission I have been asked if I am the daughter of my comp. Haha, what in the world! Soy bebe.

The little girls in our ward call me Hermana Ana, as in Ana from Frozen. The boots, the hair, the eyes. Hermana Princessa! Cracks me up.

Normally in church, the assistance we have is about 70 in church, this week, 99! So many of the less actives we have been visiting came, and we got 8 investigators to church! Miracles!

Oh, this was funny. There was a church group, that I don´t know why, but they had a HUGE party going on right in front of our house. They were all dressed up as clowns and it was creepy. Personally I have gained a huge fear of clowns, I´ve had some not so favored times dealing with people dressed up as clowns on the mish, anyways. They were blasting music all morning. When we left to go out, the man on the microphone shouted us out, and the entire church of about 80 people… well clowns, turned and looked at us. He yelled, ¨Hey you, come learn about true salvation from us!¨ Hmm, ya, no offense but I think I´ll stick to Jesus, not a clown. Oh man, don´t know what it was but YIKES. All of them were dressed as clowns dancing in a circle, I didn´t even realize it was a church! Hahaha, the daily in Ayutuxtepeque.

So I think that´s about it. Also want to write a quote I was given this week and loved, ¨Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight.¨ Gordon B. Hinckley. Stay positive, positivity saves all. Be happy, be kind, and love others.

Love you all so much whether you´re in Las Vegas, Belize, El Salvs, Canada, etc… love you. Thanks for all your prayers!!

Sister Patterson.”

Hello from El Salvs

“Well, I don´t know how this happened, but I have six minutes left to write an email. Yikes.

Well there are definitely six facts I can write about for the week.

1. I think the things Kava and I buy the most is toilet paper and coke. Haha, hashtag el salv missionary probs.

2. Did interchanges with Hirschi!! The dream finally came true! We were comps for the day! It was way too fast we just talked and talked and talked. So much to catch up on. I love her, so happy we started the mish together. We definitely feel weird we are heading back in two months. Yikes.

3.Kava bought ten Zumba dvds for 8 bucks. We have been going hard.

4.We went to immigration for me this week, and so the tradition is, go to McDonalds. So we went for breakfast at 10:30, finished. Then at 11, it was lunch time, so we were like… well hey. So we had lunch as well. Haha, McDonald lovers.

5.I think one of my favorite comments that we got this week a few times was that Kava and I bring a special spirit into the homes. We got that from members and investigators.
6. Got a weird foot fungus infection something, I am trying to post a photo but it´s not working. If you´re not a foot fan, don´t keep reading. But ya, it was blistering, I had holes in my feet, it was itchy, black dots, just not the best. Last night, I cleaned my feet, then found some foot ointment bacteria stuff in the first aid kit, it was expired but whateves. Prayed, went to bed. GONE. I have had it for about two weeks… gone. Miracles for the missionaries.

I love you all a lot. I am always reminded of how I have so many blessings in my life. The people are a  big part of that. The people here, in Belize, back home. Just thanks for loving me.

Hermana Patterson”

Feliz Año Nuevo

“Feliz año nuevo to my beautiful family and friends!

It is 2015 already and I am still feeling as though it´s 2013. Yikes! Well this week has been great as always. I am sending one photo home this week, and I just want you all to take a good look at it. Yep, the sink fell off the wall.
Normal, normal, Ayutuxtepeque. I did the deep cleaning and you don’t even want to know what I found. Juela! I love this house I really do, and I think because I am showing so much love to this house, the Lord is truly blessing us. It´s been incredible. So let´s run through the blessings.
In the first time EVER this branch passed around a calendar to feed the missionaries. We have lunch and dinner for basically everyday this month. It has been a huge success, and we are treated so well.
I feel bad one of Kava´s least fav food is tomatos, and I love tomatos. Haha, so one night, she dumped about ten tomato slices onto my ten slices. I shoveled those bad boys down before anyone saw. The life of a compaion. So many times in the mish, I blink my eyes, and some how I have double the chicken feet or beans, or whatever. Or my glass has been exchanged and some how I have a full cup, she has the empty cup. All my comps. Hahahaha, love it. But ya we have been fed so well, what a blessing. I love this ward. I truly feel a part of this ward family. They love us. And we love them.
We in two hours, found seven new peeps. Miracles, we were truly spiritually guided. A couple of those newbies were from a family we used to teach! Shoutout to Hermana O, I found Hector and his daughters! So happy.
Our new family… awesome. We got three of the five to church, we are aiming for all five next week!
A dog literally almost ate my face off, ask Kava. Hahaha, I almost passed out, we were walking with the elders to this sketch place, that’s why I had them come with us. And we were walking, and out of a bush this huge dog/wolf thing that looks like it came from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! My goodness. It leaped out, and I fell back in Kava´s arms. Then the elder kicked it out of the way before it landed on me. Hahaha, I was dying laughing slash panicking. Haha, I just miss my precious nice cute little Juhl. None of these scary man eating werewolfs.
Just want to announce I bought a bag of butter toffees, and it was one of the best decisions I made this week.
On new years Kava and I made time capsules out of pringle cans. I remembered making them when I was in activity days, so we made some. We stayed up till one, and listened to the fireworks. It was fun!
So I just want to share a final thought: here on the mish I really have learned how we must replace fear with faith. In all situations. I know that the Lord will always work with us if we don´t fear and just trust in Him. I came across this verse in the Bible this week, and I just love it. Mark 5: 36. I am so grateful for faith, because with it we can see miracles and we can do all things. So remember, don´t fear, just have faith.
I love you all, keep being incredible! Adios!

Christmas Blessings

“Hello everyone! So I skyped my Mom, Dad, Cam, Jay, Grandma, and Grandpa. Oh and ya, no big deal I saw my cousin JESSICA KOEGLER in El Salvador… of all places. This week… I am SO BLESSED. I can´t get over it!

Well many miracles have occurred, and I can´t wait to share.

Had a great little multi-zone Christmas shindig. It´s always fun to get together with all the missionaries, but I am not going to lie, I was a little Belize sick. They showed photos and videos from the Belize party, and can´t say I wasn´t a little teary eyed. My goodness. Cough cough my favs are in Belize. Well, scratch that I love lots of missionaries here too! But ya, I miss my friends. I feel like the newbie now you know? New faces, and I´m like hey, I have 15 months and you have 2, wooo. Anyways. Love Belize, love El Salvs. I can´t get enough of the David Archuleta song, I have no idea what it´s called, but they kept playing it… symphony or algo asi? I have no idea. But I love it. I have always noticed though these multi-zones are more stress for me then laid back fun, holy cow. I was asked to volunteer in front of everyone, in that moment I seemed to only remember the word queso. I danced a Hawaiian dance with Kava and our zone, and just like last year (flashback to the single ladies dance that was never once forgotten by anyone….) I was front row. Loving life, doing my thang. Hahaha, Oh brother. Making friends.

That night, we got a taxi. The taxi broke down…. in the middle of nowhere, he was like sorry. And told us that the nearest taxis, were quite the walk away. Chili beans. We got home… at 7:30 that night. Hahaha, but I´d say it´s a miracle we made it back how we did. We were with two other sisters thank goodness. Every time they would hail a taxi I had to hide behind a bush, because whenever the taxi man saw me the price would be ridiculous. Should be about 8 bucks… the first taxi man said 20. The second, 15.Yeah right. We did eventually find someone who said the price was 8, then they gave me the signal and I came out of the bush and hopped in. Hahaha! Hashtag white girl in El Salvs probs.

Got the call Wednesday asking what airport I´ll be flying home too. Yep. Hashtag three months.

Skyped my awesome fam, best Christmas present ever. I have realized Christmas for me isn’t Christmas without the family. So I am happy that we got to skype. Family is what makes Christmas. My brothers have completely changed, I know they are both taller than me now. Well Cam always was, but Jay! Holy cow the kid´s like six foot seven! My mind was definitely all over the place with stories and things I wanted to say! Just love you all, can´t wait to go back to Belize with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I go to the church to play futbol and oh look… it´s JESSICA KOEGLER! I ran all the way when she got out of the car, I was freaking out, couldn’t control myself. Kava is the best, she took some incredible photos that we will treasure forever I know. Ahhh, Jess. So gorgeous, cute sister mish. We were speaking Spanish, just hugging. I love her so much. My girl cousins mean a lot to me, they are like my sisters, it just was cool to talk to the family, then actually get to hug one! Hashtag she is awesome.

We got put in charge of making 40 plus pupusas one night and when I say we I mean just Kava and I and when I say Kava and I I mean the girls who got a five minute run through on how to. Hahaha, we did it for all of the young women. It was so much fun. Kava is pro, I well. Sometimes I would confuse the dough and queso, they look the same. So I was talking while cooking, not concentrating. And sometimes I would put queso with queso, so yay burnt cheese. Or dough with dough… tortillas! Haha! That´s how we learn right?

A drunk man that is love with me found us the other night. He loves my eyes, super creeps. Anyways, Kava is the best, watching out for me. He was trying to hug me and her and she was like oh no you don´t homeboy. It was hilarious. Got a love los borachos.

So I have time for one more story. Well the other night Kava and I had thirty minutes left, we were close by the house, just not much going on, the plans fell through. And so we were just stuck. I said, let´s pray. Kava had told me, ¨I have the feeling someone needs us right now.¨ So I prayed, in the middle of the El Salva street and asked God to put someone literally in our path who will be prepared to receive the gospel right now. And whoever is first in our path we will talk to them. We get walking, NO one is outside at that hour, other then our drunk men friends. We get walking, and all of a sudden a dog runs out and tries to eat me! Out comes a little boy and sitting in the dark, I didn’t notice at first, there was his father. We got talking, so kind. Great people. The son is eight, so cute! He loved us. The dad seemed insanely positive and we just all clicked! We set an appointment to come back, he wanted us to meet his wife and two other kids. We went back, they weren’t there, I just left a little note saying we stopped by. A few days passed. There we were Sunday at church, and guess who walks in… the dad! At first I didn’t recognize him! But there he was! He loved the church and is planning on bringing his family next week! Wow, I was crying, he didn’t understand why I´m sure. Hopefully he didn’t see, but it was a direct answer to our prayers.

We are blessed, the Lord is truly using us as instruments in his hands. And holy shmokes, Kava will be speaking fluently by the end of this change. I am so proud of her.

I love Aytuxtepeque, more than you know.

Sister Patt.”

Happy Christmas!

To my Belizeans, Belize Navidad! My El Salvadoreños, FELIZ NAVIDAD! To my peeps back home, HAPPY CHRISTMAS! Can you believe it is already that time of the year? We are approaching 2015! Ahh, what a year that will be! I can´t wait to skype the fam! It´s been 7 months! (Mom, I´ll skype 2:00 my time!) It´s been really hot these past few days, so that always makes me forget Christmas is approaching. But I am excited, Kava and I have a little tree, some lights, we are set. And the fireworks have already begun… well gun shots, but we like to pretend. Haha, I remember my last El Salv Christmas, everyone goes crazy, their day is the 24th, and then the 25th is super chill.
So I hit 15 months, I mean, whateves. I´m old. Hastag ahhhhh.
So let´s do a recap on the week.
I bought bed sheets and a new blanket, it is the softest thing I´ve ever owned my goodness, I have been sleeping like a baby. Kava and I both. Yes, we are all about comp unity. Same blanket, same headbands, same everything. I love her! So last pday we ran to Walmart, well before that we did a bbq, we just bought some random meat, still don´t know what it was, and the elders bbqed it for us…. ya, I am pretty sure I was eating just characol. Haha, Kava didn´t want it, so I ate it. Hashtag trying to be a brave soul. Yikes, I don´t blame her. So back to WAL MART. Oh America! We spent two hours in that store. We finally got some things, like oh you know, food.
Tuesday, got the call that they needed my Belize social security card at the office. Ya, we totally got lost on the way… sorry. Our district leaders came, they are awesome. Always helping us, they are two locos from Guate! They are like our best friends. Haha, they helped us figure out how to get there. They seem to always call RIGHT when they need to. Like the other day, I took Kava out to a place called Caminos, we have an awesome less active who lives there. It´s one of our danger areas, but it´s totally fine in the afternoon. So we went, the gate was unlocked, and we go in, get to the top of the mountain basically and they aren´t home, alright. Walking back down, dogs are trying to eat us. Then we get back to the gate and the gate is locked… there was a little boy on the other side just laughing at us, thinking  it was hilarious. He totes locked us out! So I´ve got Kava trying to bust the lock, a dog on my left, there is no way to get out… and we had an important appointment in ten minutes… oh my. Well, first thing you´ve got to do is pray. So we prayed. I asked the little boy to open the gate after and he just laughed, his momma doesn´t like us mormonas, and so she pretened to ignore us. So I had the feeling to go back up, so we did towards the dogs, I was praying out loud, Kava said she has never prayed so hard in her life. haha! I was like ,¨Hevaenly Father, please don´t let these dogs hurt us, please help us out, I don´t know what to do.¨The next thing I know I look to the left and there is a little path that wasn´t completely wrapped in barb wire like all the others! So we went, got into this foresty area, and sure enough, we made it out. Once we stepped out back on the street, I saw three big dogs go in. It was a miracle. I´m so grateful for Hevanely Father He is always looking out for me and my comps. Always replace your fear with faith and everything will be okay.
We ate McDonalds, I cried. For three reasons, I ate a big mac, chicken nuggets, and might I mention one of the elders spilt a liter of grape soda on me. Alright. Haha, I thought it was funny. Nice and sticky. Well, I should also mention I spilt ketchup all over myself too. I can´t wait to go on dates after the mish. Hashtag I´m a keeper.
Played some soccer this week, I love futbol.
The meetings and devotionals and advice I have been given this week from different people has been incredible. I feel all my prayers being answered. I love it! I have felt the spirit so strong this week. Basically I was taught a lot on the spirit, chooosing TODAY to act, and just how awesome the mission is.
Got the water fixed, holla. Hashtag we still don´t shower. Hashtag chiste!
Had a lady come up to me rub my arm, slash shoulder and yelled, ¨GRINGA GRINGA!¨ Okie dokie.
We have had some awesome lessons this week. I need you to pray for the following Maximilliano, Tatiana, Elena, Nelson, and Porifio.
So Kava makes me realize how awkward I am right? Cause she is fresh out of the normal world, and I am an old mish! Makes me laugh. I have always been awkward, but wow I think that´s tripled. I feel like the awkward momma, normal teen daughter type deal. Or so she says. So sometimes to embarrass her I like to sing, ¨Chloe´s mom, has got it going on!¨ Hehe, she loved that. And yes her name is Chloe, shoutout to C-Loe Bennion. Hashtag miss you. Slash your last name is no longer Bennion, awks.
So the time is closing. Just want to say, love you all. I am fininshing strong, not wasting a single minute. I love this work, and it deserves every second of my time. I hope you all have an awesome Christmas, remember why we celebrate, and tell someone you love them.
Hermana Patt.”
We can’t wait either!!!
Read this blog post from Tori’s cousin Jessica about their almost contact from last week…..

New Soul

“I´m baaaaaaack. Wow. WHERE to start seems to always be the question. My goodness, I´ll start with the fact that I am now in a completely different country! Oh El Salvs! How I have missed you. I got off the plane and just had this insane love for it! The culture, the sights, the smells, everything was just bringing back good memories and got me so excited. I have had New Soul stuck in my head all week! ¨I´m a new soul, in this very strange world, hoping I could learn……¨ love that song. So only three sistas left Belize. One sis was finishing her mish, and the other finishes this change, it was fun spending some time as a trio. So ya. I was told that I would be training. And if I am training that means I am opening an area too right? Oh man, I was SO excited, I love a good challenge! So there were only two new sisters coming in. Oh man, when I saw Hermana Kava I just knew… my baby! And sure enough, yes, I now have a missionary baby. Oh man, talk about the greatest person alive. I love her! We are so similiar it´s kind of freaky. I obviously love Tonga and have been there… no big deal, half her fam is from there, and just there are a million things that we have in common. She LOVED BYU-I as did I, just we are one. I love her! She is 19, from Hawaii, and ahhh the best. We have just had so much fun.

So we get to changes, and they announce we will be comps, in all the excitement I didn´t even look at where we would be going… get this.

Hahahahaha, my first area! I am training Kava where I was trained! Oh man, flashbacks. I never in a million years would´ve guessed that. Shout out to Hermana Ontiveros! My momma… who is home now… weird.  So ya, Ayutuxt, I told Pres Hintze, ¨Hey that´s my first area!¨ He totally didn´t know! It´s revelation. Such a blessing!

So I was only here for six weeks right? So I´m not perfect, but wow the Lord has blessed us SOOOOO much. I can´t even begin. I have this freaky good memory on people´s names, houses, everything. Our job right now is to win the hearts of the people and so far, successful. Sister Kava, how can you not love her? Everyone thinks she´s from Honduras, Panama, Uraguay, etc. Latina! But she´s not. And it´s hilarious! I am so surprised, everyone remembers me! And what is even more fun is that now I can speak to the people! Everyone has been like WOW you speak! So fun! I am SOOOO happy! I am loving the challenge. Our goal this month is three baptisms, I know… con Dios todo es posible, verdad? We have found some really positive people and I love who we are teaching. Shoutout to Momma Kava, your daugter is awesome, and learning spanish SO quick, I am so proud of her. And no worries I am taking good care, and helping her get through the millions of culture shocks she´s experiencing right now. Haha! Speaking of culture shocks…

I´m back in the tarantula house… yay.

I have done work this week, I feel it´s my responsibility to do the cleaining because I mean, El Salvs houses can make you just want to barf a little sometimes. Our house was left a MESS. I´m talking nasty. In the backyard we had a pile… a mountain of months of trash, not in bags of anything, just all over the backyard. And just. Yikes. Mice, ants, sketch. Don´t tell Kava about the mice… hehe. Haha, took care of it. It´s been fun training seeing how much I have changed. I remember at the beginning I used to have cute stuff, just everything cute like she has… now. Juela! She and I have been dying laughing about our bed sitch. Her bed is so cute, cute sheets, pink mosquito net, etc. Me… well I don´t have bed sheets right now… oops. Left those behind. So I found a piece of white cloth and my dolphin towel layed out ontop of the mattress. And I am just bumming it. Haha! I have basically turned into a Belizean, hippie, non germaphobic, carefree person. Hashtag the mish. Hold up and right now… we haven´t showered… in a week. Hahaha, no hay aqua. This morning our pipes exploded, Kava took pics. Priceless. They won´t turn our water on until I get someone to fix it. Don’t worry, taking care of that today. We will shower… not with a bucket, very soon.

The Lord has blessed me so much, especially with the best kind of attitude, positivity. I have a lot on my plate right now, but I don´t feel it! I just feel happy. I know I´m in this to learn and I am willing and excited. And my whole mish I have wanted to train…. now I can and I want to be the best, because I had the best. And trainers make all the difference! Also, my spanish. Holy cow, I know I am only speaking through the spirit. I have been amazed with the amount I well, I mean, everything! Understanding, talking, remembering the words, I just couldn´t be happier. I LOVE MY MISSION!

Emailing time goes by way to fast, but ya. I´ll take pics this week, it´s just been way too crazy! Love you all. Sista Patt” Here is a link to some pictures of her apartment when she lived there a year ago.  Here and Here and Here

It’s Time

“Well well, the call came.

Back to El Salvs for me! Crazy! But can’t lie, I’m excited! Talk about adventure. I love my mission! Two countries, two beautiful, beautiful places. With beautiful people.

Leaving Belize is definitely going to hit hard when I am on the plane tomorrow going back. But I can’t even begin with how grateful I am that I have had the time I have had in Belize, a year man! Time has flown and it’s a place, a culture, an experience, that I will always treasure and keep close in my heart. So close, I feel like I am Belizean! Sigh, had my last rice and beans this afternoon. Sad but happy. I just don’t even know how to write out my feelings! I feel like I am ending my mission and starting again… really I am, they are two completely different places. Love it. On an El Salvador note, JESSICA KOEGLER I AM FINDING YOU. Also loved that I started the year in El Salvs, now I’ll be ending it in El Salvs.

So I went to the belize zoo this morning, best thing ever. I completed my goal. Saw a toucan.

Didn’t cry, held it in, but it was still love at first sight. Also love at first sight with many of the other animals too.

Heard the Justin Bieber Christmas soundtrack in a store, put my soul at ease.

Ya, good week. Full of some of my not so favorite things, goodbyes, packing, and well packing. But, it’s all going to be okay right? Ready to start new in EL Salvs. I hope I’m training! And if I am, hello to that sister, I’m excited to train you. Woo!

Oh and this week we have been sharing the video, He is the gift. I’ll attach the link here: http://www.mormon.org/christmas. Love it, please watch! Soo grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the gift He is to each and everyone of us.

Love, love, love you all, thinking about you, and grateful for the support!

El Salva here I come!
